Practical HR Project Management for Higher Education

We’re excited to welcome Julinda LeDee, MPA. A motivational speaker, poet, and founder of Speak for Impact. Julinda brings a unique blend of inspiration and practical guidance to her work, empowering professionals to lead with intention and clarity.

In addition to her speaking and coaching work, Julinda serves as a Commissioner on the Santa Clara County Human Rights Commission, where she advocates for equity, inclusion, and community empowerment, and serves on her District EEO & Diversity Advisory Committee.

And Chuck Cantrell, a San Jose Planning Commissioner, is the creator of "Dying to Stay Here," a video and podcast series that examines the structural economic and social barriers facing Black Americans. Chuck is the Principal Strategist for CAA Consultants with over 30 years of strategy consulting experience. He has led projects for Starbucks, Nordstrom, and other large corporate clients.

They will be sharing tools, strategies, and frameworks to support practical HR project management in higher education, with a focus on real-world application, accessible tools, and leading change effectively. Learning objectives include:

  • Understanding HR’s role in project management
  • Explore high-level tools, strategies, and frameworks
  • Provide practical approaches for managing cross-functional initiatives
