About the Speaker
Laura Hamilton, MS-HRM, SPHR, SHRM-CP, serves as the manager for learning and organizational development for the Washington State University system. Laura has a bachelor's degree in business administration, a master's degree in human resources, and has completed a graduate certificate in conflict resolution (allowing her to serve as a mediator). She has worked in higher education human resources for over 13 years after a 13-year career in healthcare operations. She is a trainer in Crucial Conversations, DiSC communication style and Seven Habits. Laura has engaged in constructing and conducting employee training programs since 2005.
