We are honored to announce our keynote speaker is Stanford Women’s Basketball Coach Tara VanDerveer, who in January won her 1,203rd game in her coaching career (and counting) - the most wins by any coach in men’s or women’s college basketball history. Campus Culture and Conflict: HR's Role in Creating an Inclusive Campus Community

This is a safe space for you to share your current challenges and concerns and for us to collectively share what we are doing to create and sustain an inclusive, welcoming community for our employees and students.

During this interactive session, we will discuss

  1. current and emerging campus culture and climate challenges;
  2. actions campus leaders have taken or plan to take to address campus challenges or conflict; and
  3. what HR’s role is or can be to help all members of the community feel welcome and safe.

Led by Vivian Lee, Associate Director of Human Resources at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. She is a member of the Graduate School of Business DEI Council.

Vivian has served on the Northern and Central CA Chapter board for the past six years which includes being last year’s Chapter President. Vivian is a current CUPA-HR Emerging Leader and is a member of CUPA-HR’s Creating Inclusive Communities steering committee.
