CUPA-HR Missouri Chapter

Join the Missouri Chapter's Online Community

The Missouri Chapter is part of the CUPA HR Connect community. This is an online platform that allows us to communicate about topics, questions, and ideas related to higher education, human resources, and our chapter.

To enroll in the CUPA HR Connect Missouri Chapter, please navigate to the CUPA-HR Connect and follow the instructions to request a free CUPA HR account. If you have problems or questions, email [email protected].

Welcome to the CUPA-HR Missouri Chapter community! Please take a few minutes to explore the site. Here are a few pointers:

  • To post a discussion, click on the orange Add in the Latest Discussion Posts box.
  • You can also post a discussion using the communities' email address [email protected].
  • Any discussions shared to your community will be placed under the Discussions tab. If an attachment is included, the attachment will be stored in the Library.
  • To respond to a discussion post, please navigate to the discussion post link and click "Reply to Discussion" to send your message to the entire community.  To send a message to the only author of the post, please select "Reply to Sender" (located in the "Reply to Discussion" drop-down).  We recommend replying to the sender for simple comments like "me, too" that add little value to the overall discussion; and replying to the entire community when you are sharing knowledge, experience or resources that others could benefit from.
  • To view the members of your chapter community, click on Members.

You'll notice tabs at the top of each page:

  • Home takes you to the home page for Connect
  • Communities will take you to the list of communities
  • The Directory tab allows you to search for members in all communities.
  • The Participate tab has three options:
  • FAQs-As you are exploring your chapter community, feel free to reference the FAQs if you have questions.
  • You can post a message under the Participate tab. This allows you to post a question to any community you have joined. You must select the community name in the To Field.
  • Under the Participate tab, there is an option to share a file. This will place a file in the library of the community you designate at the top of the form.

To update the frequency of emails from this community. Navigate to your profile and click on the "My Account" tab. Choose "Community Notifications" from the drop-down menu.  On that page under Notification Settings, there are Discussion Email subscription options: Real Time, Daily Digest, No Email.

For each discussion, you have the following delivery options:

  • Real time: sends an email every time a new message is posted.
  • Daily digest: sends one email to you each day, consolidating all of the posts from the previous day.
  • No Email: allows you to be part of the group without having emails sent to you. You can still post and read others' messages by logging into the community site.
