Serve on the Michigan Chapter Board of Directors and Give Back to the Michigan Higher Education Community
The College and University Professional Association in Human Resources (CUPA-HR) has been at the forefront of education and resources for COVID-19, specifically for HR professionals in colleges and universities. As you may already know, the CUPA-HR community provides a means for HR professionals like you to exchange information, tips, and resources with your fellow colleagues across the country and in Michigan. In these uniquely challenging times, we need each other more than ever, and that includes leadership of our state chapter. The CUPA-HR Michigan Chapter board is seeking nominations for President-Elect and at-large members. Terms will begin July 1, 2020. This is a great opportunity to support your fellow Michiganders working in higher education and we hope that you consider making application.
The President-Elect shall serve as the special aide to the President, and shall assume all presidential duties in the absence of the President. The President-Elect serves as Chair of the Program Planning Committee charged with planning and implementing the annual conferences and meetings of the chapter. The President-Elect shall succeed to the office of President in the year following tenure as President-Elect. The expected average level of commitment for the President-Elect is approximately one hour per week.
