About the Louisiana Mississippi Gulf Coast Chapter
Our board is composed of dedicated HR professionals from Mississippi and Louisiana, committed to advancing the field of human resources within the academic sector. As an official extension of the National College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR), we represent public and private universities and colleges in the Louisiana and Mississippi Gulf Coast area. Our mission is to foster professional development, share best practices, and advocate for effective human resources management in higher education.
We provide a platform for higher education HR professionals to network, collaborate, and engage in meaningful dialogue on issues pertinent to our field. Through our various programs, workshops, and events, we aim to enhance the capabilities of HR practitioners, ensuring they are equipped to handle the evolving challenges in higher education.
We welcome enthusiastic volunteers to join our chapter board or contribute in other capacities. Volunteering with us offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of HR in academia, gain valuable experience, and expand your professional network. If you are interested in becoming part of our team and contributing to our initiatives, don’t hesitate to contact us to explore how you can be involved in the impactful work we are doing this year. Together, we can make a significant difference in the HR landscape of our educational institutions.
