About the Session:
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how higher education institutions recruit, engage, develop, and support their employees. As AI becomes increasingly integrated into everyday HR technology and processes, HR professionals must understand both its opportunities and its potential risks.
This interactive session explores the evolution of AI, its growing influence on higher education human resources, and the importance of responsible adoption. Participants will examine practical applications in recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and HR operations while addressing data privacy, ethical considerations, institutional policies, and human oversight. The discussion will also introduce agentic AI and its potential to transform HR workflows.
Attendees will leave with actionable strategies for leveraging AI responsibly while protecting employee information, maintaining fairness, and strengthening institutional decision-making.
