Call for Board Nominations
The CUPA-HR Arizona Chapter is seeking nominations – both self-nominations and nominations of your colleagues – for President-Elect and At-Large Board Members.
Nominations will be accepted April 17 – May 7, 2026. As a board member, you will have the opportunity to engage with and support your fellow Arizona HR professionals working in the higher education community. Terms will begin July 1, 2026. Apply Now.
Position information
President-Elect
- One-year term that starts on July 1, 2026 and ends June 30,
- Assumes President position after serving 1-year as President-Elect, and serves as Past President for 1 year after serving as President.
- Acts as a special aide to the President and assumes all presidential duties in the absence of the President.

At‐Large Board Members
- One-year term that starts on July 1, 2026 and ends June 30, 2027 (may seek reappointment for up to 3 consecutive years with Board approval)
- Provides support to the initiatives of the Chapter and works in conjunction with the board of directors to effectively establish and bring to fruition the strategic priorities of the Board in areas including communications, corporate partnerships, and other responsibilities based on the strengths and skills of the board members and the needs of the

Non-board positions
Chapter Committee membership is open to all higher education HR professionals in the state of Arizona. Members shall show commitment to the Chapter and its activities by participating in meetings, events and committees. Members are strongly encouraged to share their expertise, insights, and best practices, thereby contributing significantly to the overall growth and success of the Chapter. Active involvement in various committees provides members with a platform to gain valuable leadership experience and enhance their professional development, addressing the dynamic challenges inherent in the field of higher education human resources. Committees include: Communications, Governance, Conference, Sponsorship, Professional Development.
