Welcome to our website and, if you are a new member or visitor, to the local Chapter of one of the finest professional associations in the country, CUPA-HR.  The Lone Star Chapter of CUPA-HR is home to a vibrant mix of higher education institutions in Texas.  The human resources profession in a higher education setting can be challenging, given the broad base of stakeholders to be considered in our work and practices.  We strive to support our diverse membership in their growth and development as HR leaders in higher education.

I am pleased and honored to serve as President of the CUPA-HR Lone Star Chapter for 2011-2012.  As part of a talented and energetic board, I speak for all of us when I say that we are excited about the development opportunities we’ll be offering in the coming months.  We hope you’ll take advantage of as many of these opportunities as possible in support of your career growth and the expansion of your professional network.
