DHRM’s Director of Workplace Conflict Services will share how the Commonwealth supports agencies in managing and resolving workplace conflict. The session will highlight the services available—mediation, facilitated conversations, conflict coaching, and team interventions—and outline when HR leaders should engage the team to prevent issues from escalating and strengthen workplace culture.

Menopause is a natural life stage that affects a significant portion of the higher education workforce, yet it remains largely misunderstood and under‑addressed in the workplace. This session explores the importance of menopause education and support as a critical component of employee wellness, equity, and retention. Drawing on real world implementation experience, the session highlights key learnings, available resources, outcomes observed after launching a menopause education series, and how the work can evolve over time.

Participants will learn why it is essential to talk about menopause at work, how to thoughtfully plan and implement menopause education initiatives, and what sustainable support can look like beyond a single workshop or series.
