Welcome to the Tennessee Chapter of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources. We’re glad you’ve decided to check out our website which is provided to share information about our chapter and keep you informed of the opportunities we offer.
The primary vehicles we use to enhance your contact with other Tennessee human resource professionals are our seminars/workshops or conferences, offered spring and fall, and our listserv, used to ask questions or seek advice from others in the college and university HR field.
If you’re not already a member, joining the Tennessee Chapter is easy and inexpensive! FREE if your institution is a member of the national CUPA-HR! If your institution is not a member of the national organization, an institutional membership is only $100 for five individuals from your institution. Additional members can be added for only $25 – the same as an individual membership.
Registration is now open for the fifth annual Tennessee and Kentucky CUPA-HR joint chapter conference! This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to network with other College and University human resources professionals, as well as learn more about emerging HR topics.
The conference will be conveniently located in beautiful downtown Chattanooga, TN at the DoubleTree Hotel, 407 Chestnut St, Chattanooga, TN 37402 on March 5-7, 2014. Please register by completing and returning the registration form by February 7, 2014.
Room reservations can be made via the following methods:
- Call the hotel directly: 423-756-5150, give the front desk your date of arrival and indicate–

- Book online at www.Chattanooga.DoubleTree.com. When entering your dates on the website, there is an option to add a group code (this option is found in the drop down menu under the red arrow). The group code is THR. The correct rates ($95 per night) will pull up and you can continue the reservation process.
Deadline for reservations is February 21, after which rooms are not guaranteed, although the rate remains the same. All reservations require a credit card to hold the room. Cancellations must occur 24 or more hours prior to arrival.
