Elizabeth grew up in California and graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice. Her Human Resource experience began with the State of California, encompassing a variety of experience in pay, benefits, and classification. She currently works for the University of Nevada, Reno focusing on job evaluation for Administrative Faculty and Classified Staff.
Amanda is on the Job Evaluation team at the University of Nevada, Reno. She was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and has spent her professional career in higher education; stemming from a student, to a LMS administrator, pay administration, and now doing classifications for Administrative Faculty at UNR and Classified Staff within Business Center North (BCN). She values helping people be successful in their career and building working relationships with others. Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys reading the next best seller by the beach or enjoying an iced Americano at your local coffee bar.
Desi is currently the HCM Training Specialist for Workday in the Human Resources office at the University of Nevada, Reno. Previously she worked for 10 years in the Admissions & Records office as a Program Officer. She has been working on campus for more than 17 years and is a UNR graduate. For the last 3 years, Desi served as the Communications Director, Secretary, and President for the CUPA-HR NV Chapter. Desi is a third generation Nevadan.

Leila is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Her Human Resources experience comes from numerous years as a manger in the financial services industry. She has lived in Nevada for 27 years and calls it home. Leila focus is job evaluation for Classified Staff and Administrative Faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Marie grew up in Sunnyvale, California and graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. Degree in Human Development. With more than 20 years’ experience in Human Resources in private industry she has earned both the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resources – Senior Certified Professional) credentials. Currently she works at Nevada State College as a Personnel Technician and is seeking an MBA degree with an HR emphasis at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Karen currently works for BCN Human Resources at the University of Nevada, Reno where she focuses on benefits administration for Administrative/Academic Faculty and Classified Staff employed at the northern Nevada System of Higher Education institutions. Karen was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Reno, Nevada in 2013 and worked as a New Business and Retention Specialist at Allstate Insurance Company before pursuing a career in Human Resources.

Joan is a passionate public servant whose love for the community can be traced back to her early years. Buoyed by an acute awareness of community concerns and an innate affinity with numbers, she chose Accountancy in college. After graduation, she landed a job at one of the leading telecommunications companies in Asia where she eventually copped a managerial post. Currently, she works at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Human Resources and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Administration.

Ashley is currently a Staff Professional Trainee in Human Resources at the University Of Nevada, Reno. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Addiction Treatment Services while working as a student worker for four years. She has been with the Recruitment Team for over three years now.

Kevin currently works at the College of Southern Nevada’s Human Resources Department as Senior Specialist in salary and benefits administration for academic, administrative, and adjunct faculty. He has graduated from CSN and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Kevin has been a part of the College since 2015 and has had the opportunity to serve in different departments and institutions within the Human Resources Department.
Jared is a native Nevadan, attended Great Basin College in Elko, Nevada and earned a B.S. degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Jared has experience working in multiple facets of Human Resources in state government and higher education including pay administration and compensation, recruitment, classification, and employee relations. Jared is the Fiscal and Human Resource Officer for the University of Nevada, Reno Libraries and Teaching and Learning Technologies.
