He has worked with organizations and spoken at conferences throughout North America and Australia, and is the author of over 100 articles and book chapters on topics related to individual and organizational performance, and the book Dealing with a Difficult Co-Worker. His talk Becoming Resilient has aired multiple times on public radio and more recently he was part of Maine Calling\u2019s series on resilience.\u00a0 His approach to resilience incorporates both cutting edge scientific research and ancient wisdom traditions into practices and techniques that work in today\u2019s increasingly more uncertain, complex, and stressful times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Ross Gibson, Director, Client Services, Employee Benefits Practice, The Richards Group<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ross Gibson is leadership and organizational development consultant\/facilitator. As the Director, Client Services, Employee Benefits Practice at The Richards Group (TRG), Ross works with organizations to help develop positive leadership growth. Prior to working as a consultant, Ross was Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources at World Learning based in Brattleboro, Vermont and Washington DC. Ross has held other several senior level positions including Vice President, Learning and Organizational Development at Charles River Labs and Vice President, Human Resources at both American Superconductor and Cambridge Neuroscience, Inc. Ross has a BA in Social Psychology from Tufts University and an MA in Management from Brandeis University. He is a certified facilitator of several of the Franklin Covey programs including The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Ross is active in several local and regional Human Resources and training organizations. He is currently on the Board of the Governor\u2019s Institute of Vermont (GIV) and is the immediate past-Director of the Vermont State Council of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). He is also a past-President of the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Dr. Eric Canny, Nextsource<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Dr. Canny has almost three decades in higher education, with experience as a Dean, Vice President Program Management, and faculty with foci on global operations and HR, assessment and learning, and strategic sustainable program improvement. He teaches a range of subjects in the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education doctoral programs on Educational Leadership and Organizational Change Leadership.\u00a0 He has presented globally, including at the World Innovation Summit on Education, on using data to drive strategic policy and change.\u00a0 Dr. Canny has opened international operations of higher education in more than 10 countries, started various non-profits at global-scale, and served as the first principal of the Harvey Milk School.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Tracy Hassett, President and CEO, edHEALTH<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">As President and CEO of edHEALTH, LLC and its stop-loss captive Educators Health Insurance Exchange, Tracy brings a unique strategic perspective to Human Resources and Finance at educational institutions. She served 17 years as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and past President of Southern New England CUPA. Recognizing the financial challenges of schools nationwide, Tracy played a leading role in launching edHEALTH, a consortium of educational institutions coming together to save money on insurance costs and improve the healthcare experience for faculty and staff. Now in its tenth year, edHEALTH continues to grow in member schools under Tracy\u2019s strategy, vision, and leadership. She is an alumna of Roger Williams University and lives in Bristol, RI, with her husband and their two labs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Nancy McConaghy, Vice President, edHEALTH<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">As Vice President, Nancy is responsible for membership growth, retention, and working proactively with business partners to identify cost-saving opportunities and introduce new solutions for edHEALTH member-owner schools. Nancy joined edHEALTH after serving as a Senior Account Executive for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for many years, supporting colleges and universities, including edHEALTH, and large businesses in New England. Her strength in strategic planning, detailed day-to-day follow-up, and building trusted relationships brings effective collaboration with internal and external constituents. Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island and her Master of Science in Management from Lesley University. She lives in Bristol, RI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Peter Turgeon, Director of Innovation, Segal Benz<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Peter Turgeon is the Director, Innovation at Segal Benz and is based out of Boston, MA. He is a passionate advocate for using technology to affect real business change and blends his skills and extensive knowledge of benefits communication, consumer marketing, creative design, digital strategy, and business know-how to create fresh, new ideas that delight audiences and measurably improve business results. Peter\u2019s clients include Adobe, Autodesk, NortonLifeLock, PayPal, and Sandia. Since joining Segal Benz, he has transformed our approach to measurement and analytics, provided unique insights into consumer marketing strategies and tactics to create new benefits communication approaches, and developed many Segal Benz solutions such as fully-managed email marketing automation, benefits calculators, medical plan decision tools, and an experience-driven onboarding solution. Peter is currently working on workflow automation, chatbot, AI, and augmented reality. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Prior to joining Segal Benz, Peter spent 10 years at Aon Hewitt, where he consulted and built technology solutions for Target, Disney, PepsiCo, Dell, and Allstate.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Cassie Christie, Associate Director for Human Resource, Bowdoin College\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Cassie has her Master\u2019s in Human Resources from Western Carolina University and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She has worked in Human Resources for over 12 years and has worked in healthcare, hospitality, and entered higher education almost three years ago. She is a CUPA-HR (College and University Professional Association Human Resources) member and has been on the board for the Northern New England CUPA chapter as their Events Coordinator since 2021. She is passionate about creating better systems and processes, as well as connecting and engaging people to purposeful work.\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Erin Donahue, Manager of Reform, Partnerships and Leadership Development in the Corrections Leadership and Management Fundamentals Unit<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Erin Donahue is a transformational leader who has dedicated her time and energy to creating sound leadership programs, developing systems to enhance learning, build avenues for growth<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">and bridged gaps to advance capacity building for staff and leaders alike. She volunteers her time as the Provincial Vice-Chair\/Chair Elect of the OPS Leadership Network and in multiple Executive positions within Tomorrow\u2019s Ontario Public Service building opportunities for OPS leaders and staff to grow, develop and reach their potential. In these roles she has built provincial manager mentorship programs, created workshops on resume and interview skills, equitable hiring, networking and personally career mentors those seeking support and guidance.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">She is a strong advocate for leadership without titles. Recognizing the wealth of talent every individual brings to the table, regardless of rank, role, or seniority, and works<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">tirelessly to spread that message, building strong, inclusive leadership cultures throughout the OPS. Erin has past experience in emergency response with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Ambulance Communications and has held various leadership roles within social assistance, learning and development, job classification and legal portfolios.
