Better Communication is essential for building trust, team building, collaboration, and self-awareness and relationship management. How do we cultivate our own resilience while we are helping everyone else cultivate theirs?<\/p>\n<p>In this interactive 90-minute session, you will learn how Harvard&#8217;s Center for Workforce Development did just that. They rose to the occasion, helped university staff build resilience in the face of uncertain times and supported their HR colleagues in the process. One of the most challenging scenarios investigators often face is when an incident involves only two witnesses, with no other corroborating or discrediting testimony available (traditionally referred to as a \u201che said\/she said\u201d situation). In this session, we will delve into evidence-based factors to consider for making more objective and reliable credibility determinations, before collaboratively analyzing a fictitious case study.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Mandy: <\/strong>As a licensed Professional Investigator in Maine and attorney in Massachusetts, Mandy conducts impartial and comprehensive investigations for higher education institutions in both Title IX and employment matters. Mandy also conducts investigations into the most challenging employment situations, such as allegations of harassment, discrimination, and serious employment misconduct.<\/p>\n<p>Mandy additionally facilitates engaging and highly-interactive workshops that provide staff guidance and practical skills to identify and challenge both personal and organizational biases and embrace the myriad benefits of working collaboratively with individuals across a range of differences.<\/p>\n<p>Mandy is a graduate of Middlebury College and Boston College Law School.
