You will be our main point of contact to share information, foster engagement, and most importantly, allow us the ability to create a feedback loop of what the community wants to see, and what we can offer as the Chapter\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n<p>Champions are HR professionals who value CUPA-HR NJ and want to support the active participation and engagement of the NJ community.<\/p>\n<p>The NJ Chapter relies on you to connect the Board of Directors to the people of the community, you will spread awareness of what CUPA-HR is and the membership standing of your institution (non-member or member), educate your community on the importance of professional development and how CUPA-HR can be a valuable resource and tool, encourage engagement and participation in all CUPA-HR NJ chapter events, and be a resource for your community to ask questions, provide feedback and express what they want to see.<\/p>\n<p>Champions are our on-site experts and the driving force for increased participation and overall engagement of our NJ member institutions HR professionals; you are influencers for the CUPA-HR NJ Chapter. As a Champion, you&#8217;re both an advocate and ambassador.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Responsibilities of a Champion<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend NJ Chapter in person conferences and virtual events<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Board of Directors meetings on an as needed basis.<\/li>\n<li>Spread information to your own institution about Chapter events and initiatives<\/li>\n<li>You are the pipeline for future Board members, we rely on you to connect your community with CUPA HR-NJ and educate on what the Board does to promote future board members.<\/li>\n<li>Assist during in person conferences at our welcome\/registration tables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Some ideas for cultivating engagement as a Champion <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spread the word about upcoming events with your HR team!
