The Champion Program may be the perfect place to start!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>New Jersey CUPA-HR Champion Program<\/strong> creates opportunities for members who want to become more involved in our chapter, contribute their talents, and build meaningful connections within New Jersey\u2019s higher education HR community.<\/p>\n<p>Champions work alongside members of our Board of Directors to support chapter initiatives, events, member engagement, and other projects throughout the year. It\u2019s an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at chapter leadership while contributing in ways that align with your interests, strengths, and availability.<\/p>\n<h3>Why Become a Champion?<\/h3>\n<p>As a Champion, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get involved without the full commitment of a Board position<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Build relationships<\/strong> with HR colleagues across New Jersey colleges and universities<\/li>\n<li><strong>Share your skills, ideas, and perspective<\/strong> to help strengthen our chapter<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gain leadership and volunteer experience<\/strong> through meaningful chapter initiatives<\/li>\n<li><strong>Explore future Board service<\/strong> and learn more about how our chapter operates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our hope is that the Champion Program becomes a <strong>pathway to leadership<\/strong> for members who may eventually be interested in serving on the New Jersey CUPA-HR Board of Directors.<\/p>\n<h3>Who Should Become a Champion?<\/h3>\n<p>You don\u2019t need to have previous Board experience or a specific title. We\u2019re looking for members who are curious, collaborative, and excited to contribute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you passionate about higher education HR?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Do you enjoy connecting with and engaging others?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Would you like to become more involved in the New Jersey CUPA-HR community?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you said yes to any of these questions, we\u2019d love for you to consider becoming a <strong>New Jersey CUPA-HR Champion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Hear From Our Members<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201c<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">I enjoy serving on the CUPA-HR NJ Board mainly to give back, to empower others and help do my part in providing equitable and accessible professional development to all, no matter who, what position or title, or how much they make. I feel that everyone should be able to professionally and personally have opportunities to grow, challenge oneself, and learn new things.
