She is a proud first-generation college graduate, while not so unique, it has shaped her career path,\u00a0choosing work focused on assisting others in the pursuit of their goals, helping them define a path and a plan, and to see options instead of obstacles on their way to success.<\/p>\n<p>Jocylen began her career in higher education with the nonprofit, Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), where she led career programs championing access and inclusion in business education for diverse professionals seeking to attend top MBA programs. Her ongoing commitment to higher education led to a Director role with Santa Clara University\u2019s Graduate School of Business, managing career education and employer engagement.\u00a0 In 2018,\u00a0 Jocylen joined Stanford Career Education, as an Assistant Dean where her work focused on employer engagement and career outcomes.
