Consider joining a dedicated group of HR professionals committed to advancing the field of higher education human resources by serving as <strong>President\u2011Elect<\/strong> of the <strong>Kansas CUPA\u2011HR Board of Directors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>voluntary leadership role<\/strong> is ideal for individuals who are passionate about CUPA\u2011HR\u2019s mission and eager to make a meaningful impact within the higher education HR community. The President\u2011Elect supports the current President, becomes familiar with the responsibilities of the office, and contributes to guiding the chapter\u2019s strategic initiatives. This position is a three\u2011year leadership commitment that begins with service as President\u2011Elect, transitions to President in the subsequent term, and concludes with service as Past President.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborating with the President and Board members to advance organizational goals and initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Actively participating in monthly Board meetings and decision\u2011making<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with the planning of programs, events, and committee work, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Preparing to assume the role of President in the following term<\/li>\n<li>Representing Kansas CUPA\u2011HR within the HR community<\/li>\n<li>Representing Kansas CUPA\u2011HR at the Annual Conference, if possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>An interest in leadership development and board governance<\/li>\n<li>A commitment to teamwork, inclusivity, and CUPA\u2011HR\u2019s mission<\/li>\n<li>Availability to serve a multi\u2011year leadership term (President\u2011Elect, President, and Past President)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Interested in Serving?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Individuals who are interested in this leadership opportunity are encouraged to submit an email expressing their interest to <strong>cupahr.kschapter@gmail.com<\/strong> by <strong>close of business on May 1, 2026<\/strong>.
