McPherson College makes the 2016 Honor Roll for The Chronicle’s “Great Colleges to Work For”

McPherson College is a private, liberal arts college in central Kansas.  We were so pleased to receive national recognition by the Chronicle of Higher Education in 2015 and then again in 2016.  We were amazed to be part of the honor roll recipients  in 2016.  The categories our college community coveted high marks as  being a great place to work in were:   job satisfaction, work/life balance, teaching environment, professional/career development, tenure clarity & process, collaborative government, supervisor or department chair relationship, respect & appreciation, confidence in senior leadership, compensation & benefits, and  facilities, workplace & security.  Many faculty and staff wear the great colleges logo proudly in their daily correspondence with our students, our college community, the world and beyond.   Additionally our college website leverages the logo for potential students as well as applicants to view.  As the one-person shop for all human resources for the college, Brenda Stocklin-Smith can wholeheartedly proclaim that McPherson College is the greatest place to work!
