If you are interested in serving on the 2024-25 chapter board, please complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/240505410726043\"><strong>board application form<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Details about board member service are included in our <a href=\"https:\/\/chapters.cupahr.org\/ga\/about\/chapter-bylaws\/\">by-laws<\/a> and on CUPA-HR\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cupahr.org\/for-volunteers\/leader-toolkit\/\">Leader Toolkit<\/a> page. If you have additional questions, please <a href=\"https:\/\/chapters.cupahr.org\/ga\/contact-us\/\">contact us<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Before submitting an application, please note that:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Georgia Chapter board meets monthly, and officers are required to attend 80% of meetings per year.<\/li>\n<li>At-large board members are asked to chair a committee and\/or serve in an officer-elect role.<\/li>\n<li>The estimated time commitment is, generally, two to four hours per month.<\/li>\n<li>Open positions for the 2024-25 term are:\n<ul>\n<li>President-Elect (2024-2025) \/ President (2025-2026)<\/li>\n<li>Secretary<\/li>\n<li>At-Large Member - Governance<\/li>\n<li>At-Large Member - Member Engagement<\/li>\n<li>At-Large Member - Program and Events<\/li>\n<li>At-Large Member - Secretary-Elect<\/li>\n<li>At-Large Member - Treasurer-Elect<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Selection Process:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The board\u2019s Governance Committee will review all applications and then invite applicants to the April board meeting. If you remain interested in serving on the board, we will schedule an interview and answer any questions you may have. After interviews for all positions are completed, the Governance Committee will recommend a slate of officers for adoption by the full board no later than May.
