Alabama Chapter Board Nominations

The CUPA-HR Alabama Chapter board is seeking nominations for Secretary and Director-at-Large, effective July 1, 2019.

The President-elect (one-year term commitment) shall serve as the special aide to the President, and shall assume all presidential duties in the absence of the President. The President-elect serves as Chair of the Program Planning Committee charged with planning and implementing the annual conference and meetings of the chapter.

The Secretary (two-year term commitment) shall record all official actions of the Board of Directors and of the membership at the Chapter’s annual business meeting. The secretary will also ensure that members are notified of time, date and place of meetings, and ensure distribution of agenda materials.

The Director-at-Large (two-year term commitment) member(s) serve the board’s strategic needs as determined by the President at any given time. Director-at-Large may have various responsibilities and projects – short or long-term – during their elected two-year term to include, but not limited to: assist in planning meetings/conferences, identify and solicit corporate partners for possible sponsorship, and membership outreach.

Getting involved as a board member is a great way to develop professionally and grow with CUPA-HR.

Individuals who are interested must be a CUPA-HR member. Individuals can nominate themselves or other candidates.
