Descriptions for each open officer position are listed below. Once you have reviewed the position descriptions, click here to learn about the candidates and vote for your new officers.
We will announce our newly elected chapter officers via e-mail on June 9.
We are also approving revisions to our bylaws. Click here to see the proposed change. The revisions are highlighted in yellow. These revisions will change the term of office for the President, President-Elect, Past President, Secretary, and Treasurer which will run from January 1 to December 31.

Position Descriptions
President-elect — serves as the special aide to the president during 2010-11 and shall assume all presidential duties in the absence of the president. The president-elect will work with the chapter board of directors to plan and implement the annual conferences and meetings of the chapter. This position is expected to assume the chapter presidency in January 2012, contingent upon the approval of the recommended By-Laws change.
Secretary — records all official actions of the board of directors and of the membership at the chapter’s annual business meeting. The secretary will also ensure that members are notified of time, date and place of meetings and ensure distribution of agenda materials. This position is a two-year appointment.
