To qualify for all Oregon Chapter Board positions, individuals must:
Have a commitment to the Chapter and its activities;
Must be listed as a representative of a higher education institution that is a member of the CUPA-HR national organization;
Be a human resources professional who is currently in the field with no less than 50% of the job devoted to human resources activities;
Provide leadership that is consistent with CUPA-HR’s commitment to providing equal opportunity for participation in all aspects of the organization without regard to race, religion, gender, national/ethnic origin, sexual orientation, age, veteran, disabled status or any other protected status category.
Nomination and Election Process:
Nomination or self-nomination for a chapter position is made by submitting a letter of interest to the Chapter President at lflamenc@willamette.edu.
The letter of interest should include:
- A description of how qualifications are met;
- Reasons for wanting to serve in the desired role; and
- Any other information that may be helpful.
