The Ohio CUPA-HR Chapter, has been an active and growing organization over the last several years. We have many accomplishments to be proud of as a state chapter, including an active listserv, new by-laws, a developing website, some stimulating and thought provoking conferences and of course the networking and support we have through our members.
All of this has been accomplished through the effective leadership that has guided our organization. In order to continue this tradition, the Chapter’s Nominating Committee is seeking your help with nominations for four vacancies with terms that will begin at the conclusion of the spring state chapter meeting on April 12& 13, 2012.
2012 Leadership Opportunities:
President – Elect
Program Chair
Secretary
Chapter Officer Criteria:
- Commitment to the Chapter and its activities, as demonstrated by active participation in the work of the Chapter’s committees. All individuals holding office must be listed as a representative of a higher education institution that is a member of the CUPA-HR national organization.
- A human resources professional who is current in the field, with no less than 50% of her or his job devoted to human resources activities.
- Provide leadership that is consistent with CUPA-HR’s commitment to providing equal opportunity for participation in all aspects of the organization without regard to race, gender, national/ethnic origin, sexual orientation, age, veteran, religion or handicapped status.
- Willing and able to participate in conferences including planning meetings and evening events.
