Registration Open for New York Metro Chapter’s Spring Meeting!
As many of us in HR are already intimately aware, the depressed and still unsettled economy has not left higher education unscathed. To this end, our Spring Meeting should prove to be both timely and extremely beneficial for our membership. It will feature Andy Brantley, President and CEO of CUPA-HR, who will discuss the economic impact of the higher education workforce. Andy’s presentation will be followed by an engaging panel discussion by top HR officers at local New York area universities, sharing their insight on how they are leading human resources during these times of financial austerity.

Chapter Elections
At this meeting we will also be electing two new officers as the chapter will soon be completing its inaugural year. The positions of President-Elect and Program Chair will be coming available, and we are currently soliciting nominations or declarations of candidacy. The deadline for submissions has been extended to Wednesday, March 4, 2009. All submissions should be sent to rcoladarci@stfranciscollege.edu and include a statement of interest and a short bio.
We have limited space for this event so please try to sign-up early to reserve a spot. There is no cost to attend, but attendees must register in advance.
