Our economy has witnessed drastic changes in the past year: unemployment rates have soared to five-year highs; credit markets are frozen; interest rates have dropped; and our concerns about inflation have turned into concerns about deflation.
In response to the current conditions, many organizations have shifted their focus from growth to carefully managing their balance sheets and taking necessary steps to remain competitive, or in some cases viable. They are taking steps to reduce expenses and cut costs while also trying to keep their workforce engaged and productive.
This presentation provides perspectives to help HR leaders make these tough decisions and map out their strategy to shape the workplace of the future. You will find insights regarding:
- What alternatives are available to help you rapidly transform HR?
- Where can HR and finance work collaboratively to measurably reduce costs?
- What are practical steps for executing the required changes and delivering cost improvements?
- How can you reduce cost “now” without jeopardizing ability to provide necessary services when the economy rebounds?
